The Wine Estate is part of a non-profit foundation. Established in the year 1576, it looks back on over 430 years of history and therewith on a wide experience in wine growing. The vineyards are located in the region’s best areas. Since hundreds of years the vines are planted in famous single vineyards like the Würzburger Stein or the Julius-Echter-Berg. The winery knows its responsibility for the environmental resources; therefore all vineyards are managed close to nature. The Juliusspital Wine Estate is producing mainly white wines on a very high quality level. Sustainability, regional identity and continual innovation – That’s Juliusspital!
